Clinical Supervision

Finding meaningful and affordable clinical supervision for professionals working towards licensure is tough. I offer both individual and group supervision for social workers and counselors. My approach to supervision aligns with my theoretical and philosophical approach in therapy, which is primarily humanistic and incorporates Existential, Gestalt, and Rogerian frameworks with Buddhist psychology.

I believe a helpful approach to supervision is found by framing our work as therapists, healers, or guides in three 'ways': our Ways of Being, our Ways of Understanding, and our Ways of Intervening.

For example, I might say that my Way of Being with clients is primarily Rogerian; my Way of Understanding the challenges or suffering of others is via existentialism and Buddhism; and my Ways of Intervening are rooted in unconditional positive regarding while applying mindfulness, meditative, Gestalt practices.

Fees

I have been fortunate along the way to have mentors and supervisors who provided guidance at at reasonable rate, and I intend to pass this tradition along.
